Sputnik is a low-risk way to check out what it means to be in an intentional community and explore alternate ways to live and enjoy the examined life.

Objective/Purposes:

Sputnik seeks to build community by fostering inviting spaces in which attendees can make genuine and lasting personal connections, tap into their talents and innate creativity, and have opportunities to take on projects both collaborative and personal. Sputnik offers, through a community focused, alcohol and recreational drug-free environment, opportunities for attendees to challenge themselves in ways they often don’t.

Sputnik is run by Intentional Community Endeavour, Inc a non-profit (501(c)7).

Rules

Sputnik is recommended for age 25 and up. We have a ‘no alcohol and no recreational drugs’ policy because we enjoy the space while sober, and we think you will too. Respect yourself and others. If your behavior endangers the community, you may be asked to leave, and your registration fees forfeited. There are no childcare facilities at Sputnik and we do not provide programming for children.
